Description
Arjo toilet clip sling - padded legs is a special-purpose design intended for toileting, dressing and undressing patients/residents. The clip sling is used in combination with DPS (Dynamic Positioning System) spreader bar, a system that allows the caregiver to position the resident or patient in the sling - from upright to reclined without needing to do so manually, help to reduce physical caregiver effort.
The toilet sling has been designed for easy and efficient access to residents/patients clothing for dressing and undressing in connection with toileting routines for passive transfer of those with limited mobility.
- - The leg pieces of the sling are padded for comfort and narrow to enable clothing to be removed easily
- - The cushioning positioned under the patient's/resident's arms aim to provide comfort and support
- - The sling provides head support and can also be equipped with a safety belt around the upper body for extra security
Selecting the most appropriate sling is important to ensure that it is suitable for the patient/resident, for the type of transfer required and compatible with the lift being used. The use of patient handling equipment such as mechanical lifts with the appropriate sling is a core component of a safe patient handling program.
This sling should only be used together with Arjo passive lift systems in accordance with the allowed combinations page on the specified section of the Instructions for Use.
Toilet padded clip slings are available in seven sizes to cover the whole spectrum of residents (XS, S, M, L, LL, XL, and XXL).
