Arjo Sara Plus disposable standing sling in conjunction with the lift supports the patient through active standing transfer and rehabilitation activities by enabling a single caregiver/therapist to facilitate. It supports infection prevention and safe patient handling routines.
As single-patient use, the sling reduces the risk of cross-contamination and can easily be disposed of if soiled, damaged or suspected of being contaminated. Always on hand for the caregivers, disposable slings do not need to be sent away for washing; so there’s no need to worry about lost or damaged slings.
The sling is an essential part of the Sara Plus standing and raising aid. In conjunction with the lift, it enables semi-active residents and patients to be raised up from a bed, chair, toilet, wheelchair or hygiene device for transfer and short distance transportation. It can also be used for early mobilisation and rehabilitation activities.
Residents and patients in care environments gain important physical and psychological benefits when their mobility is maintained. Choosing the right mechanical aid is crucial for maintaining mobility of the resident/patient and at the same time reducing physical overload for the caregiver.
