Bard Lapides Lubricated Diagnostic 2-Way Foley Catheter is a type of Foley Catheter used to measure the Urethral Profile and diagnose and treat incontinence. The Diagnostic Foley Catheter has 5 rings below the balloon, facilitating calibration of the Female Urethra in order to evaluate the urethra. The rings are used for tactile measurement. Each ring is 1cm apart. The Hydrogel coating of the Foley catheter facilitates easy insertion and removal without causing any discomfort to the patient. The coating also helps in reducing the encrustation on the inner and outer catheters.
