This innovative system allows healthcare professionals to irrigate wounds at 4-15 psi, safely removing bacteria and necrotic tissues while dual exit portals safely direct effluent removal away from the wound without backsplash. The igloo shield design protects staff from the risk of cross-contamination due to blood-borne pathogens that may be present in the backsplash. These shields conveniently attach to a variety of saline bottles to allow continuous, high-volume wound irrigation without having to stop and refill every 60 ccs.
