Bodypoint® sub-ASIS compatible dual-pull four point padded hip belt with side release buckle - small when used together with Sub-ASIS pads (Anterior Superior Iliac Spine) (optional) reduces pressure on the bladder while firmly controlling the pelvis just below the ASIS. Bodypoint® sub-ASIS compatible dual-pull hip belt buckle greatly enhances stability and provides two firm points of contact with the pelvis for improved control of obliquity and rotation while minimizing abdominal pressure.
Seat mounting bracket (optional) provides an easy & secure way to mount belts to active wheelchairs. They are ideal for chairs with sling seat upholstery or a solid seat base. The 20° bracket is designed for mounting on the side of the seat tube, and the 90° bracket is great for mounting on top. Either configuration places the belt as close as possible to the user, for better fit.

Q. How does the dual-pull design accommodate asymmetrical pelvic positioning compared to center-pull or rear-pull belts?
A. The dual-pull design allows independent tightening from both sides of the center buckle, enabling precise adjustments to address asymmetrical pelvic obliquity or rotation. Unlike the center-pull, which tightens symmetrically, or the rear-pull, which focuses on posterior control
Q. I've had issues with belts digging into my stomach. Will this one be more comfortable?
A. Absolutely. The teardrop-shaped gel pads and Sub-ASIS positioning keep the belt lower on the pelvis and away from the abdomen, reducing discomfort and pressure on sensitive areas like the bladder.
Q. How does the side-release buckle work?
A. The lightweight plastic side-release buckle provides a secure snap closure that's easy to operate with one hand, offering both safety and convenience for users and caregivers.
Q. What are the benefits of the four-point configuration?
A. The four-point configuration attaches to the wheelchair at four points, offering greater stability than two-point belts. It includes primary straps for pelvic positioning and secondary straps to anchor the belt, preventing it from riding up or twisting.
Q. Can this belt be mounted on any wheelchair?
A. Yes. It can be mounted to most active wheelchairs, including those with sling upholstery or solid seat bases. Optional mounting brackets (20° or 90°) help ensure the belt is positioned close to the body for optimal performance.
