Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S Wound Dressing

Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming and superabsorbent wound dressing. The dressing is made up of a superabsorbent core that retains water and an outside layer of hypoallergenic polypropylene fleece. Both sides of the dressing can be placed on the wound. The product contains no pharmacologically active ingredients and is free of binders and adhesives.

Indications:

• Pressure ulcers
• Venous Leg ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Wounds healing through secondary intention
• Oozing laparotomy wounds
• Exulcerating carcinomas
• Postoperative wound dehiscence

Directions for use:

• Select an appropriate dressing size so that the absorbent core overlaps the wound margins by at least 1 cm (0.4 inch)
• Avoid touching the wound pad when removing Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S from its pouch
• Apply the dressing directly to the wound; either side may be used
• Secure the dressing using suitable fixation for the wound and surrounding skin, ensuring room for expansion as the dressing absorbs exudate

How to remove:

• To remove, detach fixation tapes, lift one corner of the dressing, and gently remove it. Adherence of wound deposits to the dressing aids in wound cleansing and is considered a desirable effect.

Wear time: Dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on the wound condition and dressing saturation.
