Cutimed Sorbion Sana Gentle is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming superabsorbent wound dressing designed for atraumatic wound management. It features a superabsorbent core with high fluid retention, a hypoallergenic polypropylene layer, and a polyethylene outer contact layer with three-dimensional perforations. This innovative structure ensures excellent absorption and vertical fluid management, protecting the wound from maceration and promoting an optimal moist healing environment. The dressing absorbs up to 44.7% more exudate than comparable products, ensuring comfort, protection, and effective wound care.

Directions for Use:

• Wash hands and wear gloves before applying the dressing
• Cleanse and debride the wound according to local clinical practice
• Select a dressing large enough to overlap the wound margins by at least 1 cm
• Avoid touching the wound pad when removing the dressing from the pouch
• Apply the dressing directly to the wound (either side can face down)
• Secure with a suitable fixation such as tape, film, or bandage
• Allow for dressing expansion during absorption

How to Remove:

• Gently lift one corner of the fixation and remove the dressing carefully
• Adhered wound material is a desirable effect, aiding gentle wound cleansing (soft debridement)

• Diabetic foot ulcers

Wear Time: Cutimed Sorbion Sana Gentle can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound condition and saturation level. Initially, daily changes may be required, then less frequent as healing progresses. Avoid leaving a completely saturated dressing in place.
