Debrisoft Lolly is designed for the debridement of deep wounds, including those caused by invasive surgery. The same monofilament polyester fibers used in Debrisoft Duo and Debrisoft Pad are attached on the end of a break-resistant polypropylene handle. This form makes it easier to clean difficult-to-reach regions such skin folds, toes, fingers, and undermining or tunneling wounds. Both the head and the handle are sewed with a blue X-ray-detectable thread for enhanced safety.
Debrisoft is intended only for debridement and should not be left on the wound. It can be applied during each dressing change, as needed, to assist maintain a clean wound environment. Treatment should continue until the wound is completely cleansed and has progressed from the cleansing phase to the granulation phase, hence promoting ideal healing conditions. Debrisoft Lolly is made of unique high-tech polyester fibers that effectively remove wound debris and exudate, as well as skin flakes and keratosis. Its ergonomic handle design promotes optimal healing conditions by keeping the wound bed clean and the surrounding skin healthy.

Product composition:
The head of the Debrisoft Lolly is composed of monofilament polyester fibres and is sewn with a blue, X-ray detectable polypropylene thread (containing barium sulphate and polyester). The interior of the head is coated with polyacrylate. The head is sewn onto a polypropylene handle.
Fields of application:
Debridement of deep wounds - including wounds from invasive surgery - to superficial wounds, e.g.:
- Diabetic ulcers.
- Pressure ulcers.
- Trauma, burns, scalds.
- Arterial and venous ulcers.
- Postoperative wound healing and wound healing by secondary intention.
How to use:
- Debride the wound or hard-to-reach areas by applying gentle pressure with the soft head of the moistened Debrisoft Lolly.
- The fibre composite absorbs the loosened wound coatings, trapping them
To note:
- To be used for debridement only - must not be left on the wound.
- Can be used each time the wound dressing is changed, as required.
- Should be used until the wound is thoroughly cleansed and has progressed from the cleansing phase to the granulation phase.
Tip:
- The soft fibre side may be moistened with any common wound rinsing solution.
- A very good outcome can be achieved even with highly keratotic or necrotic wound debris, provided the wound has been previously treated with autolytic debridement.
