Xtrasorb Classic Super Absorbent Non-Adhesive Dressing is a super absorbent polymer-based dressing for moderate to heavily exuding wounds that need extra fluid handling. The super-absorbent polymers bind fluid, convert it to a gel, and keep it from entering the wound. Xtrasorb Classic Dressing is ideal for use on leg ulcers, where compression bandages can be left in place for up to 7 days, as well as on other wounds with copious wound fluid when minimizing dressing changes is a goal
