Compatible with DeRoyal NPWT devices, these ready-to-use kits help promote effective wound healing in clinical, bedside, and home care settings under clinician supervision.

Indications

Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Dressing kits are to be used in conjunction with an NPWT pump to promote wound healing by removal of wound exudate, debris, and infectious material. NPWT dressing kits may be used during surgery or at the patient's bedside and are indicated for home use under a clinician's care.

Contraindications

• Necrotic tissue with eschar present
• Unexplored or non-enteric fistulas
• Untreated osteomyelitis
• Wounds containing malignant tissue
• Exposed arteries, nerves (including vagus nerve), blood vessels, veins, or internal organs
• Exposed anastomotic site

How Supplied/Sizing

• Black Foam: DeRoyal's black foam is a hydrophobic open-pore reticulated foam designed to promote wound healing by removing excess exudate and infection debris and supports wound contracture when used in combination with NPWT therapy units.
• White Foam: DeRoyal's white foam is an open-cell hydrophilic foam that can be used to protect delicate structures or be applied to undermining and tunneling in a wound when using NPWT therapy.
• AMD Gauze: DeRoyal's antimicrobial gauze is hydrophilic and designed to absorb and retain fluid. It is effective for the treatment of wounds with low to moderate drainage.
