Eclypse Adherent super-absorbent dressing with a soft silicone contact layer, a non-strikethrough backing, and CrystaLock technology. The silicone layer considerably reduces or completely eliminates pain and tissue damage during removal by gently adhering to the dry surrounding skin without adhering to the wound bed. Large volumes of exudate can be captured by the dressing thanks to its rapid-wicking technology and highly absorbent moisture-locking system, which causes the dressing to gel upon contact. The high moisture vapor transfer rate of the water-resistant backing prolongs wear time while preventing strike-through. It works well with soft-adherence or compression/retention bandaging for moderate to heavily exuding wounds.

Indications:

• Moderate to heavily exuding wounds such as- Leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, sloughy or granulating wounds, post operative sutured or dehisced wounds, fungating wounds, donor sites and patients with fragile skin
• Can be used as a primary dressing on clean wounds requiring exudate management.
• Can be applied as a secondary dressing to manage exudate where a primary dressing is already in place.

Contra-indications: Do not use Eclypse Adherent Sacral on arterial bleeds or heavily bleeding wounds.
