EmPower is specifically formulated with a blend of high quality medical enzymes to effectively remove a wide range of debris and soils, and provides excellent cleaning efficacy. It is an economical alternative to MetriZyme, the other enzymatic detergent with a higher enzyme concentration, when there is moderate to low organic debris. The unique enzyme blend contains protease enzymes, amylase enzyme and lipase enzyme. Protease enzymes are specifically designed to break down and remove protein-based soils, such as blood and tissue, from instruments. Amylase enzymes break down and remove starch-based soils, while lipase enzymes break down and remove lipid-based soils, such as oils and fats.
EmPower is designed with a low-foam formulation, which makes it easy to rinse and reduces the risk of clogging in automatic washers. This versatile detergent can be used with water temperatures up to 55C/131F and is available in both fragrance and fragrance-free versions. The reformulated multi-enzymatic solution provides better cleaning power for a wide range of instruments and has a neutral pH formula that provides advanced corrosion protection that is safe for a wide variety of materials including metal, plastic, rubber and glass for your instrument reprocessing needs.
