This gel not only keeps the wound moist, which is necessary for optimal healing, but it also aids in the management and absorption of excess fluid, lowering the risk of maceration and maintaining skin integrity. This advanced dressing combines calcium alginate's high absorbency with silver's strong antimicrobial properties to provide a comprehensive approach to wound healing and infection control. This dressing is adaptable and can be used on a wide range of wound types, including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, surgical wounds, and traumatic injuries. Its high absorbency and antimicrobial properties make it ideal for wounds with moderate to heavy exudate.
