Exos Long Thumb Spica with BOA provides targeted stabilization for the first metacarpophalangeal (MCP) and carpometacarpal (CMC) joints while offering secondary support to the radiocarpal and radioulnar joints. It is designed for injuries at the base of the thumb such as Bennett’s or Rolando’s fractures, CMC joint arthritis, scaphoid fractures, or conditions involving the trapezium or trapezoid bones. The BOA Fit System allows quick, precise adjustments for a secure fit, while the thermoformable polymer material molds to the patient’s anatomy. Its radiolucent construction enables imaging without brace removal, and the antimicrobial properties maintain hygiene during single-patient use.
