How to Apply

1. Cleanse the wound with Gentell Dermal Wound Cleanser and gently pat the surrounding skin dry.
2. Choose an appropriately sized Gentell Calcium Alginate Dressing based on wound dimensions.
3. Apply the dressing directly to the wound bed, ensuring full coverage.
4. Cover with a suitable secondary dressing, such as Gentell Super Absorbent, or Gentell Bordered Foam Dressing.
5. Replace the dressing daily or as ordered by a physician.

Indications for Use

Gentell Calcium Alginate Dressings are suitable for use on:

• Leg Ulcers
• Pressure Ulcers/Injuries (Stages 3 and 4)
• Diabetic Foot Ulcers
• Surgical Wounds
• Lacerations, Abrasions, Skin Tears, and Minor Burns

Contraindications

• Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to alginate materials.
• Not intended for dry or minimally exuding wounds, as moisture is required for gel formation.
• Change dressing daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Discontinue use if redness, irritation, or other adverse reactions occur.
