Halyard Closed Suction Systems (T-piece) are designed to safely suction patients on mechanical ventilation by removing secretions from the airway while maintaining ventilation and oxygenation throughout the suctioning procedure. The T-piece trach suction catheter was previously known as Kimberly Clark Kimvent T-Piece closed suction Trach Catheter. The Halyard closed suction catheter is designed for adults. The Ballard suction features a T-piece attachment to the artificial airway with 22 mm connections on both sides of the T.
