Hartmann Zetuvit Plus Silicone Non Border Super absorbent Dressing is designed to provide superior wound care with its advanced features, making it the ideal choice for managing a wide variety of acute and chronic exuding wounds. This non-border, silicone dressing is self-adhesive, ensuring secure placement while accommodating the need for occasional repositioning without causing trauma to the healing area. The silicone-coated contact layer offers a gentle grip to the skin, facilitating painless removal and adjustments as necessary.
The dressing comprises a perforated silicone wound contact layer and a green
absorbent pad. The silicone layer facilitates the application of the dressing
and promotes non-adherence to the wound. Above the silicone layer, the product
features a white, hydrophilic non-woven fabric (viscose and polypropylene). The
absorbent pad comprises cellulose and superabsorbent polyacrylate (SAP) for the
absorption and retention of exudate and is wrapped in a hydrophilic cellulose
tissue to distribute the liquid. The backing of the dressing is made of green,
polypropylene non-woven fabric to indicate the side facing away from the wound,
which is hydrophobic but permeable to air and allows for gas exchange.

Intended purpose:
Zetuvit Plus Silicone is a sterile single-use absorbent dressing with a
silicone interface for long-term treatment of acute and chronic exuding wounds.
It is used on adults in clinical or homecare environments and can be combined
with cleansing solutions and local antiseptics, primary dressings and additional
fixation. It can be used in context of compression therapy. Zetuvit Plus Silicone
can be used by healthcare professionals and lay persons under the supervision of
healthcare professionals.
How to apply:
- Clean the wound using a physiological solution or as instructed by a
clinician.
- Select a suitable dressing size for the wound making sure that the
dressing overlaps the margins of the wound by approximately 0.4 to 0.8
inches (1-2cm). Do not cut the dressing.
- Before applying the dressing, after rinsing the wound, make sure that
the area around the wound is dry using swabs to ensure the dressing adheres.
- Remove the protective sheets. Place the dressing with the adherent side
onto the wound, so that the green side faces away from the wound.
- Secure the dressing using a secondary bandage or any other suitable
fixation, or, if need be, with a compression bandage as instructed by a
clinician.
- A dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days, depending on the
condition of the wound and the established clinical protocol. The dressing
must be changed if clinically indicated or when exudate reaches the rim of
the dressing.
