IMPROVACUTER Gel & Clot Activator Tubes offer serum for determinations in chemistry and serology. The gel is very stable in physical and chemical features. After centrifugation, the gel can effectively separate the serum from blood cells, preventing substance exchange between blood cells and serum. So, serum could be aspirated directly from the collection tube, no need to transfer to another container.

• Silicone coating reduces adherence of red cells to tube walls.
• They are coated with silicone and micronized silica particles to accelerate clotting.
• The Safety closure has a unique rubber stopper that seals the blood collection tubes.
• The tube contains a gel that forms a stable barrier between the serum and the cellular components of the whole blood after centrifugation.
• It is recessed within and covered by a plastic shield to help protect laboratory personnel from contact with blood on the stopper or around the outer rim of the tube.
