Each analyte is indicated by a color-coded block on the strip, simplifying interpretation. The strips screen for various infections, diabetes, kidney, and liver problems, providing comprehensive diagnostic capabilities.

McKesson Consult 10SG Urine Reagent Strip Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure that the strip, urine specimen, and/or controls have reached room temperature (15-30�C) before testing.
• Promptly remove the strip from the closed canister or sealed pouch.
• After removing the required number of strips, tightly close the canister to maintain strip integrity.
• Fully immerse the reagent areas of the strip in fresh, well-mixed urine immediately, and promptly remove the strip to prevent reagent dissolution.
   

Handling the Strip:

• While removing the strip from the urine, wipe its edge against the rim of the urine container to remove excess urine.
• Hold the strip horizontally and gently press its edge against an absorbent material, such as a paper towel, to prevent cross-contamination between reagent areas and to avoid contact with urine.
   

Interpreting Results:

• Compare the reagent areas on the strip to the corresponding color blocks on the provided color chart at the specified times.
• Hold the strip close to the color blocks and match the colors carefully to determine the test results accurately.
   

Important Notes:

• Results should be interpreted within 2 minutes after the specified times for optimal accuracy.
