Description
McKesson Thumb Splint is a low-profile design provides maximum thumb support while allowing user to perform everyday tasks such as typing or writing. It is used for treatment of thumb sprains or strains, hyperextension, arthritis of the first carpal metacarpal (basal joint arthritis), thumb tendonitis, Gamekeeper's / Skier's Thumb, and De Quervain's Syndrome. It contains a malleable aluminum stay and a flexible spiral stay that can be removed or shaped for desired support and custom fit. It has dorsal, radial, and palmar stay pockets for maximum thumb stabilization, support, and comfort. The universal, bilateral design fits right or left thumb allowing user to change sides as needed.
