Melgisorb Ag Calcium Alginate Dressing

Molnlycke Melgisorb Ag Calcium Alginate Dressing is a highly absorbent alginate dressing that contains CMC and ionic silver and can kill bacteria for up to four days. It is made of soft alginate fibres that have been formed into a non-woven fabric. The superior wet strength of these alginate fibres prevents the dressing from disintegrating in the wound bed, allowing it to be easily removed in one piece. It can absorb exudates in large quantities, up to 18 times its own weight.
