Mepiform Soft Silicone Sheeting features a gentle, self-adherent silicone layer that conforms to the skin, providing a secure and discreet fit. Its soft and flexible form makes it appropriate for a variety of body parts, including joints and places that move often. It is quite good at reducing the look of old and new scars. The thin, discreet material can be worn under garments for everyday use without drawing attention. It promotes an appropriate healing environment by regulating collagen formation, which is critical for treating hypertrophic and keloid scars. The silicone layer also hydrates and protects the scar, which aids in healing and skin regeneration.

Indications:

• Old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars.
• Closed wounds which may prevent the formation of hypertrophic and keloid scars.

Direction to use:

1. Cut the dressing to the desired size or shape if needed. Remove the protective film.
2. Apply to the scar area, ensuring at least 1 cm overlap onto surrounding skin. No additional fixation required.
3. Reapply after daily inspection. Dressing does not need to be rinsed or cleaned.
