For MIC-KEY Low-Profile Gastrostomy Tubes Instructions for Use

• Remove the plug from the MIC-KEY feeding tube to reveal the MIC-KEY feeding tube anti reflux valve.
• For gastric decompression or enteral feeding, connect the Extension Set connector by aligning the black line on the connector with the black line on the MIC-KEY. Lock into place by rotating it CLOCKWISE 3/4 turn.
• Flush the Extension Set and the MIC-KEY with warm water (10 ml for adults, 3–5 ml for children). Check for ease of flushing.
• After feeding or decompression, flush the Extension Set and the MIC-KEY with 5–10 ml of warm water.
• To disconnect the Extension Set from the MIC-KEY rotate the extension set connector COUNTER-CLOCKWISE until the black line on the MIC-KEY aligns with black line on the Extension Set. Gently remove the connector from the MIC-KEY. Replace the plug into the MIC-KEY.
• After each use, wash the Extension Set with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

It is intended to be used multiple times for a single patient for up to 14 days.
