Indications for Use

The device is indicated for use as a dispenser, a measuring device and a fluid transfer device. It is used to deliver fluids into the body orally or enterally. It is intended to be used multiple times in non-clinical settings by users ranging from clinicians to laypersons in all age groups. The device is indicated for single patient use only.

Contraindications

• Syringe is not intended for use as a storage device.
• Syringe is not intended for use with infusion pumps.
• This device is intended for oral/ enteral applications only. Do not use this device with small bore connectors from other healthcare applications as it has the potential to misconnect.

Discard Syringe in regular household waste when:

• Plunger is too difficult to move
• Syringe use exceeds 20 use cycles
• Barrel markings are too difficult to read
• Black O-ring gasket is distorted or damaged

Warnings

• Not following Cleaning Instructions may result in patient harm.
• Failure to discard according to instructions may result in patient harm.
• Always refer to nutrition/medication manufacturer indications and instructions for use.
• Do not modify the device as this may lead to leakage, inadequate fluid delivery or patient harm.
• Do not use abrasive products on the outside of the syringe barrel as this may lead to premature removal of printed markings on the syringe.

Precautions

• Do not use device if syringe tip is visibly blocked as this may lead to inadequate fluid delivery.
• Do not use if device is damaged as this may lead to device contamination or inadequate fluid delivery.
• Do not autoclave or sterilize syringe as this may cause syringe to malfunction.
• Do not place syringe in dishwasher as this may cause syringe to malfunction.
• Do not use any cleaning fluids other than those listed in Cleaning Instructions as this may cause syringe to malfunction.

Cleaning Instructions

Thoroughly wash syringe immediately after each use.

• While syringe tip is submerged in warm soapy (dish soap) water, pull/push plunger the full length of the barrel at least 3 times.
• Remove plunger from barrel. Using your hands, wash the plunger and barrel separately with warm (43-49°C; 110-120°F) soapy water until visible soil is removed. If visible soil remains, repeat cleaning steps using a soft-bristled brush to aid in washing the plunger and the INSIDE of the syringe barrel. Do not use abrasive products on the OUTSIDE of the barrel as this may lead to premature removal of printed markings on the syringe.
• Thoroughly rinse (until no bubbles remain) and allow both parts to dry in a clean area before putting plunger back in barrel. Repeat cleaning steps if visible soil remains.
• Store in a clean, dry area.

• All returns must have an RGA number (Returned Goods Authorization), unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
• We do not guarantee fulfillment of any desired purpose or product suitability to the user and this will not be considered as a valid reason for return.
• The products must be new, unused condition, not tampered with, in original packaging and returned at the customers expense in the original packaging.
• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
• Hygiene, bath and toilet items cannot be returned once opened or used.
