The secret to proper standing is the Symmetry and Symmetry Youth's unique ability to create modest hyperextension at the hips and place the body in proper full upright weight bearing while minimizing the harmful effects of shear. This enables a progressive standing program and the ability to modify the standing position for optimal stretching. The distinctive design concepts of the Symmetry Youth have led to the evolution of this accomplishment.
