Experience optimal skin protection with the Proximel Basic Bordered Three-layer acrylate Foam Dressing, where advanced wound care meets superior comfort. The unique foam formulation bolsters rapid absorption, keeping the wound environment suitably moist and minimizing any danger of maceration. Its high breathability elevates moisture management, and the waterproof, bacteria-proof backing ensures a sterile, air-permeable covering that shields the wound from external contaminants. The dressing features a polyacrylate adhesive border, so no additional materials are required to secure the dressing and it can be used with moderate to light exuding wounds.

Benefits:
- Can be worn for up to seven days.
- Create a moist environment for wound healing.
- No additional materials are required to secure the dressings.
How It Works:
Proximel Basic border polyacrylate adhesive polyurethane foam dressings absorb exudate and provide optimal moisture environment to the wound site through a three-layer system:
- Absorbent polyurethane foam: cushioning protection that provides additional comfort while offering great fluid handling capabilities.
- Polyacrylate adhesive contact layer: soft yet strong nonwoven material prevents curling and allowing for straightforward secure application.
- Protective backing: smooth and comfortable material that is waterproof and a barrier to bacteria while promoting high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR).
How to apply:
- Clean and dry the wound area per protocol prior to application.
- Select the appropriate dressing size according to the wound. Note that dressing can be cut to size if necessary.
- Remove the release films and apply the adherent side to the wound. Do not stretch.
- The dressing should overlap the dry surrounding skin by at least 4 to 8 inches (1-2cm).
- The frequency of replacing the dressing depends on the patient's condition and exudate level. Wear time is no more than 7 days.
