QuickChange Penile Incontinence Wrap is intended to handle male urinary incontinence in sleeping and noambulatory patients. Its innovative design allows a single caregiver to change a patient in about a minute with no lifting involved. The one-size-fits-all wrap collects urine before skin contact can be made, significantly reducing the risk of incontinence acquired dermatitis, which can occur with the use of incontinence briefs.
Features
Easy & Quick Changes
It’s named QuickChange for a good reason: it only takes 60 seconds to change a user, regardless of his size, anatomy or weight. One person, one very quick change. Allowing you to provide a higher level of care, at home.
No Lifting Required
Unlike traditional designs of diapers/briefs that wrap around the waist and legs, QuickChange wraps are applied "from the top down" and only around the penis. It means anyone can administer care, where previously it might require several people (or a lift) to be able to lift a wearer and be able to clean and change a diaper.
Minimized Sleep Interruptions
Changing traditional briefs requires lifting and rolling in order to get them underneath the wearer. This typically awakes the wearer, if not preventing him from reaching deep REM sleep. Many families can speak to the power of a complete night's sleep to improve the disposition the following day and everyone's quality of life.
Promotes Skin Health
QuickChange Male Incontinence Wrap collects urine before it comes in contact with the skin, significantly reducing the risk of any skin related health issues. In case of diapers/briefs, urine runs between the thighs and pools under the buttocks before being absorbed by the brief. Wraps are open and let heat and moisture escape; briefs are sealed shut and trap in heat and moisture.
Clinically Proven to Prevent Pressure Injuries
In a study led by the wound care team at one of the world's most prestigious institutions, QuickChange wraps were shown to prevent pressure injuries related to incontinence associated dermatitis (IAD) and to the use of indwelling urinary catheters.
Minimized Touch and Contact
as it happens, many developmentally disabled males are uncomfortable with tactile touch and care. The less touching with regard to personal care the better, especially in the genital area. As urine is immediately trapped inside the incontinence wrap, sensitive wiping is minimized, if not eliminated.

Q1. How much urine can the wrap absorb?
Answer: The QuickChange Wrap can absorb up to 500cc (17oz) of urine and the wrap stays dry to the touch. Keep in mind that the daily average output of urine is 1000cc. The wrap wicks moisture away to improve patient outcomes.
Q2. How does the QuickChange Wrap work?
Answer: The QuickChange Wrap contains a patented superabsorbent polymer (activated by fluid at body temperature) that absorbs the urine quickly after a patient voids. The gel quickly dries after it absorbs the urine which eliminates leaks and lowers the chance for a patient developing dermatitis.
Q3. Is there an odor within the brief?
Answer: The QuickChange Wrap’s gel absorbs the odor as well as wicking away moisture when a patient urinates.
Q4. Is there an adjustment period before the clients/residents get used to the QuickChange Wrap?
Answer: QuickChange Wrap is comfortable from its initial use.
Q5. What are the various layers of the QuickChange wrap made of?
Answer: The outer layer is a liquid proof barrier to protect clothing, skin, and bedding from urine leakage. The middle layer is composed of an absorbent gel and padding to quickly absorb and contain up to 500cc's of urine. The top layer next to the skin is soft and porous so the urine can immediately be drawn away to the absorbent middle layer.
Q6. Is using the QuickChange wrap in a brief considered double diapering?
Double diapering can be illegal in certain districts and is heavily frowned upon everywhere as it can be viewed as a effort to cover up neglect. QuickChange Wraps are designed to work by themselves to collect urine. In cases where a patient is both bowel and urinary incontinent, a desire to use QuickChanges in conjunction with an outer brief is understandable.
