Quickfix NonSterile Prefilled Formalin Container is made to make the preservation and fixation of biological substance easy and effective. A 250 mL (8.5 oz.) screw-cap bottle safely holds 125 mL of formalin solution, which is prefilled into each container. The wide interior of the container promotes the best possible specimen absorption and preservation, assuring the accuracy and caliber of the samples.

Features:

• Wide-mouth, nonsterile, graduated specimen vial containing 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin (NBF) fixative
• Container is manufactured from virgin polypropylene for higher clarity, and white plastic caps are dual-threaded to ensure a secure, leak-resistant 95 kPa-compliant seal
• Vials are stackable, shatter-resistant and individually labeled with lot number, expiration date and blank spaces for specimen identification

Precautionary Measures:

• Use under a chemical fume hood or in an area with good ventilation.
• Put on the proper personal protection equipment (PPE), such as a lab coat, gloves, and goggles.
• After handling, carefully wash your hands.

First Aid Measures:

• If there is any skin contact, wash right away with lots of water.

Formalin is one of the dangerous substance. Take care when handling. As it may irritate the respiratory system, cause skin reaction, and harm the eyes, avoid swallowing, inhalation, and contact with the skin and eyes.
