ReadyWrap Upper Extremity Gauntlet

The ReadyWrap Upper Extremity Gauntlet covers the wrist to the MCP and overlays the ReadyWrap arm garment to minimize gapping. The Gauntlet features adjustable straps to fit the top of the hand. It also includes a pocket for inserting a foam pad. The Gauntlet can be worn both day and night. Before using for the first time, please consult with a skilled medical professional.

Features:

• Not made with natural rubber latex.
• Available in two colors: beige and black.
• Left/right particular design contours fit the hand more naturally.
• The pocket design gives additional support through foam padding.
• Built-in cushioning for the palm and dorsum promotes continuous compression over bony prominences.
• Velcro brand straps promote the convenience of use for higher patient compliance.

Indications:

• Lymphedema.
• Edema.

Intended Uses:

• To maintain reduced fluid volume and shape of limbs.
• Compression garments for phlebological, lymphological indications (i.e., venous disease, chronic edema and lymphedema).

Contraindications:

• Acute DVT.
• Untreated cancer.
• Severe cognitive impairment.
• Untreated congestive heart failure.
• Untreated infection (i.e. cellulitis).
• Arterial insufficiency or ABPI < 0.8.
• Moderate to severe peripheral arterial disease.
• Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the product components.

Precautions:

• ABPI > 1.3.
• Renal failure is present.
• Patients have diabetes.
• Arterial disease is present.
• Cardiac overload is suspected.
• Rheumatoid arthritis is present.
• Patients have advanced small vessel disease.
• Absent or impaired sensation (peripheral neuropathy).
• Any open wounds should be dressed prior to application.

Material content:

• Nylon (polyamide), polyurethane, spandex (elastane).

Note: It is recommended that the Ready Wrap garments be washed and dried before the first extended use.

Donning instructions:

1. Unfasten all garment straps.
2. Slide your hand into the gauntlet with your thumb in thumb space and palm facing away from the garment.
3. Fasten the small thumb strap with white hook.
4. Fasten the small strap with the white hook on the palm of the hand to close the garment.
5. Pull the strap with the light blue hook at full stretch ensuring it is aligned with the opposing side of the gauntlet and fasten it on the garment.
6. Pull the strap with the dark blue hook at full stretch and fasten it on the garment.

• The products must be new, unused condition, not tampered with, in original packaging and returned at the customers expense in the original packaging.
• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
• Hygiene, bath and toilet items cannot be returned once opened or used.
