Mallinckrodt Shiley Neonatal Tracheostomy Tubes Cuffless are made from comfortable-soft flange material and features a lower flange angle to accommodate infant patients. Each tube is designed with a smooth, round-tip and its own obturator. It is used to bypass upper airway obstructions, support tracheal and bronchial secretions, and provide long-term ventilation. All neonatal tracheostomy tubes have a recessed area behind the connector to provide greater comfort. Each neonatal tracheotomy tube comes with its own smooth, rounded-tip obdurate to facilitate insertion and is designed for use to bypass upper airway obstructions, provide long-term ventilation, and support and/or manage tracheal/bronchial secretions.
