Portex Thermovent T2 Heat and Moisture Exchanger provides effective humidification for individuals who breathe normally but have their upper airways bypassed by a tracheostomy tube. Smiths Medical Portex® Thermovent® T2 11mL dead space is a sterile, single use heat and moisture exchanger. Thermovent T2 device has a centrally situated integrated oxygen line connection connector that allows for supplemental oxygen without interfering with the other operations. Thermovent T2 HME is a passive humidifier made specifically for tracheostomy tubes.
