Transeal Transparent Wound Dressing is ideal as a primary dressing or secondary dressing for non-draining wounds.
Features
- Impermeable to water and bacteria.
- Pressure-sensitive adhesive gently acts as a second skin.
- Maintains a proven high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR).
- Carrier can be used as tracing film for documenting wound measurements.
- Easy, two-step delivery with see-through carrier film ensures proper application.
- Transparent semi-occlusive, breathable polyurethane wound dressing in many sizes.
Indications: Vascular access sites (I.V. and C.V.C), First and second degree burns, Dermal sites, Superficial wounds, Surgical incisions, Lacerations and abrasions, Donor sites.
Applications:
- Clean and thoroughly dry site.
- 2. Peel release liner from center of dressing while aligning the Transeal center over the site.
- Press dressing into place.
- Remove the “Top Clear Carrier Film” by lifting away at the tab.
Removal: Gently grasp the corner on the edge of the dressing and slowly pull the dressing from the skin in the direction of hair growth.
