URGOK2 2 Lite Layer Compression Bandage System is a dual compression system composed of a short stretch bandage (KTECH) and a long stretch bandage (KPRESS). Exclusive PresSure system with pressure spot indicators on both bandages aids the application of the recommended therapeutic pressure of around 40mmHg from the first application.

Indications: UrgoK2 is for the treatment of venous leg ulcers, venous edema and lymphedema, which require full compression.

Contraindications:

• Ulceration caused by infection.
• Ankle-brachial Index (ABI) <0.8.
• Allergy to any of the components.
• Arterial conditions (arterial or predominantly arterial ulcers; known or suspected arterial disease).
• Patients suffering from diabetic microangiopathy, ischemic phlbitis (phlegmatia coerulea dolens), septic thrombosis.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Check that the ABI >0.8 before prescribing the bandage system.
• Any serious incident linked to the product has to be reported to the manufacturer.
• In case of infected peri-ulcer dermatitis, treat infection before commencing compression bandage therapy.
• The efficacy of UrgoK2 has been tested and validated for the application KTECH and KPRESS together.
• If you have any concern, especially in case of pain whilst wearing the compression system, contact your doctor or clinician.
• In case of an ulcer from a rare origin (vasculitis, hemopathy, pyoderma gangrenosum, etc.) the compression system should only be used following specialist referral.
• In the event of diabetes, heart failure or advanced micro-vascular disease, use the compression system with close medical monitoring following appropriate treatment.
• The PresSure system has been specifically designed to aid application of the bandages; it is important to follow the instructions carefully to achieve the recommended therapeutic pressure.

How Supplied/Sizing: For ankle 18cm-25cm: KTECH: 6.6yd; KPRESS: 7.8yd stretched. For ankle 25cm-32cm: KTECH 8yd; KPRESS: 11.5yd stretched.

Recommended Use: Venous Ulcers

Removal & Change Frequency: UrgoK2 should be left in place both day and night until the next dressing change at the direction of the clinician. The UrgoK2 kit is designed for single use only.
