Vitaflo UCD Trio Medical Food is a powdered formula containing a blend of essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fat (including docosahexaenoic acid — DHA), vitamins, and minerals for the dietary management of Urea Cycle Disorders (UCD), and other conditions requiring the use of essential amino acids.

• To achieve fluid and general nutrition requirements, the diet must be supplemented with natural protein, water, and other nutrients in prescribed amounts.
• Must only be used by people with confirmed Urea Cycle Disorders (UCD) and other illnesses where the use of essential amino acids is suggested under strict medical supervision.

Preparation Guidelines: Measure the required number of scoops and add the amount of water recommended by the clinician or dietitian.

To prepare 5 g PE:

• Measure 2 level scoops into a glass/mixing cup.
• Add approx. 135 ml (4.5 fl oz) of cold water.
• Mix well until all of the powder is dissolved.
• Drink immediately.

Any prepared feed should be refrigerated and used within 24 hours. Re-shake before use.

Storage: Unopened: UCD trio should be stored in a cool, dry area. Once opened, use it within 1 month.
