Instructions for Use:
- Handle under clean conditions to prevent microbial contamination.
- Administer at room temperature.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the container or the feeding set.
- Shake the container vigorously for at least 10 seconds using a twisting motion.
- Avoid contact with any part of the container or feeding set that touches the formula.
- Follow the physician’s instructions for flow rate and volume based on patient tolerance.
- Provide additional fluids between or after feedings as needed.
For Use with Enteral Feeding Pumps:
- Remove dust covers from the RTH Safety Screw Cap and the feeding set connector.
- Insert and secure the feeding set connector, piercing the foil completely.
- Close the clamp before inverting the container.
- Invert and suspend using the built-in hanging ring.
Precautions:
- Not for intravenous (IV) use.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosemia.
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for feeding sets.
- Hang product for up to 48 hours with clean technique and a single new set, otherwise no more than 24 hours.
