ZeniCOL is a high quality, sterile, non-hydrolyzed pure collagen dressing composed of 100% native bovine collagen. Collagen is used to promote angiogenesis, decreased MMP levels in chronic wounds, stimulate collagen deposition and formation of granulation tissue in the wound.

Indications For Use
Management of full and partial thickness wounds including: Pressure Ulcers, Diabetic Ulcers, Ulcers caused by Mixed Vascular etiologies, Venous Ulcers, Donor and Graft Sites, Abrasions, Traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention, Dehisced Surgical Wounds, 1st and 2" Degree Burns Contraindications ZeniCOL Ag dressing should not be used on third degree burns or on patients with a known allergy or sensitivity to animal derived collagen, silver or any other ingredient.

Contraindications
- ZeniCol Collagen Dressings should not be used on infected or contaminated wounds or on patients with sensitivities to bovine origin. ZeniCol is an insoluble collagen and should NEVER be used as an injectable collagen.
Storage
- Store ZeniCOL Ag in a cool, dry place and avoid light.
Warnings and Precautions
- Opened and unused ZeniCOL must be discarded. Do not pack the wound tightly, allow for ZeniCOL expansion. Wounds may appear larger during the first few days of treatment due to the reduction of edema.
Mode of Use/Application
- ZeniCOL Bovine Collagen Pad Dressing and Particles are used to promote wound healing and require a prescription for use from a medical provider.
- ZeniCOL can be used on dry to moist wounds.
- Topical ointments may be used with ZeniCOL.
- Either side of the ZeniCOL Collagen Pad can be placed to the surface of the wound.
- Sterile saline may be used to moisten ZeniCOL if the wound is dry.
- ZeniCOL Collagen Particles may be sprinkled onto shallow wounds or into deep, tunneling wounds.
Removal & Change Frequency
- Irrigate the wound bed with an appropriate wound cleanser to remove the gel residue from the wound base. Change dressings daily or as directed.
