ConvaTec Aquacel Foam Adhesive is designed with a protective barrier, a soft-foam layer, a hydrofiber interface, and a gentle silicone border. These layers are designed to provide a moist wound environment that promotes fast-wound healing. It vertically wicks away moisture and minimizes the exudate field's spreading to help containment. The foam dressings can be worn for up to one week and are easy to wear while keeping the patient comfortable and dry. The waterproof barrier protects the wound while the patient showers. The dressing is easy to remove and the adhesive easily lifts up without damaging the skin. Aquacel Foam Dressings are available in different sizes and shapes to meet the needs of individuals.
