Aquacel Ag Foam Wound Dressing is designed for open and exuding wounds. It contains Hydrofiber Technology that turns to gel when it comes into contact with wound fluids, trapping the moisture. The gel helps provide the wound with an environment that encourages healing. The bandage also contains ionic silver, which has antimicrobial properties that keep bacteria from spreading. It is also waterproof to be an effective primary dressing.
