Cutimed Sorbact Antimicrobial Dressing Pad is a hydrophobic, bacteria-binding wound dressing that uses Sorbact Technology. It has an absorbent core that captures and retains moderate to high amounts of exudate. Bacteria are unable to reproduce once bound, which reduces colony formation and the risk of infection.

Indications:

• Moderate to highly exudating wounds
• Post-surgical wounds
• Traumatic wounds
• Pressure injuries
• Diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers

How to use:

• Prepare the wound and surrounding skin according to local clinical protocols
• Select a dressing size that covers the wound, ensuring it overlaps the wound margins by at least 2 cm. Do not cut the dressing
• Remove the dressing from its peel pouch using aseptic technique
• Apply the dressing with the green contact layer in full contact with the wound surface to allow microorganisms to bind
• Secure with an elastic bandage or skin-friendly adhesive tape
• Change the dressing based on exudate levels and the condition of the wound and surrounding skin. If clinical conditions allow, it may remain in place for up to 7 days

How to Remove:

• If the dressing adheres to the wound, moisten it to facilitate removal and avoid disturbing the healing tissue
