ComfortFoam/Ag Bordered Foam Wound Dressing with Soft Silicone Adhesive and Silver is a vapour permeable waterproof backing, a self-adherent silicone foam island dressing with silver, and a soft silicone wound contact surface. ComfortFoam/Ag Border Silicone Foam Dressing absorbs exudate, keeps wounds moist, and has antimicrobial preservative characteristics.
DermaRite ComfortFoam/Ag Dressing contains 0.25~0.35mg/cm2 of silver ions, which have antibacterial preservation activity in vitro for up to 7 days. The silicone adhesive adheres to the surrounding skin but not to the wound bed, reducing pain and the danger of wound damage.
