Exufiber Ag+ Antimicrobial Gelling Fiber Dressing

Exufiber Ag+. Antimicrobial Gelling Fiber Dressing with hydrolock technology is a sterile non-woven gelling fiber design that provides immediate antimicrobial action and long-term protection against a wide range of Gram negative and Gram positive microorganisms. High absorption and retention capacity may reduce the likelihood of leaks and maceration. When the dressing comes into touch with wound exudate, it converts into a gel that promotes moist wound healing and is easy to remove during dressing changes. Contact with wound fluid has a quick and long-lasting antibacterial action. Can be used to treat medium to strongly exuding wounds. It contains silver sulfate that is equally dispersed throughout the dressing.

Indications: It is intended to be used on a wide range of exuding wounds:

• Pressure ulcers,
• Leg and foot ulcers,
• Partial thickness burns,
• Surgical wounds,
• Donor sites,
• Chronic wounds,
• Oncology wounds.

Contraindications: Not intended for dry wounds or full thickness burns.

Direction to use:

1. Cleanse the wound using wound cleanser in accordance with therapeutic guidelines. Completely dry the surrounding skin.
2. Remove the dressing from the packaging using aseptic techniques.
3. For shallow wounds, apply a covering that covers the whole wound and overlaps the surrounding skin by at least 1-2 cm. The dressing will shrink slightly as it absorbs wound fluid. For deep wounds, loosely tuck a ribbon or sheet into it.
4. Fix with a suitable secondary dressing. Compression therapy can be utilized in combination with dressing.

Wear time: Up to 7 days, depending on wound condition and clinical practice.
