Indications for Use

The Gentell Bordered Foam Dressing is indicated for use on a wide range of acute and chronic wounds, including:

• Pressure ulcers and dehisced wounds

• Moderate to heavily exudating wounds
• Recently healed wounds requiring protection

Note: It may be used as either a primary dressing directly on the wound bed or as a secondary dressing over another wound treatment.

Contraindications

• Do not use on dry wounds or those with minimal exudate.
• Discontinue use if irritation, redness, or an allergic reaction occurs.

How to Apply

1. Cleanse the wound with Gentell Wound Cleanser.
2. Gently dry the surrounding skin.
3. Select an appropriately sized Gentell Bordered Foam Dressing, ensuring at least a 1-inch margin around the wound.
4. Remove the paper backing from the dressing.
5. Apply the dressing directly over the wound surface, smoothing the edges for full adhesion.
6. Change the dressing every other day or as directed by a physician.
