Optifoam Gentle Ag+ Silicone Bordered Foam Dressing

Optifoam Gentle Ag+ Sterile Silicone Bordered Foam Dressing  is designed to provide gentle yet secure adhesion for sensitive skin while maintaining an ideal healing environment. Its highly conformable silicone border ensures a comfortable fit that can be lifted and reapplied without losing adhesion. The dressing features an advanced moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) that adjusts to wound exudate levels, promoting balanced moisture and breathability. Ionic silver offers long-lasting antimicrobial protection, effectively managing bacterial contamination and supporting faster, cleaner healing. The waterproof, low-friction outer layer protects against external contaminants while minimizing shear and irritation. Each dressing contains nominally 0.13% by weight of ionic silver.

Indications: Partial and full-thickness wounds with drainage.

Contraindications:

• Third-degree burns, lesions with active vasculitis
• Individuals with a known sensitivity to silver.

Directions to Use:

1. Remove dressing from package. Remove one piece of the release liner.
2. Place dressing on the wound and remove the other release liner.
3. Gently secure the dressing to the skin.

Change Frequency: Replace the dressing when exudate reaches the edges of the foam pad or as clinically indicated. The dressing may remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound drainage.
