Mepilex Border Sacrum Ag antimicrobial foam dressing is an all-in-one dressing designed for sacral wounds with medium to high exudation levels. In vitro studies have revealed that the treatment can inactivate wound-relevant microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi in three hours. According to international consensus, antimicrobial activity is advised to help reduce bioburden in infected wounds and to act as an antimicrobial barrier in wounds that are at high risk of infection or re-infection. The dressing gently adheres to the original less-pain contact layer using safetac and silicone adhesive. Your patients will feel less pain during dressing changes.

Indications:

Directions to use:
- Cleanse the wound with saline solution or water according to standard clinical practice. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.
- Remove the release films and apply the adherent side to the wound. Do not stretch.
- For best results, the dressing should overlap the wound edges by at least 2 cm.
