- Monitor fluid absorption through the clear backing to determine when a change is needed—no pre-moistening required.
Indications for Use
PolyMem Shapes Foam Dressings are designed for:
- Open or closed wounds
- Injuries located on curved or contoured body areas
- Sites with light to moderately heavy exudate
- Wounds requiring autolytic debridement support
Contraindications
- Not indicated for use with manual wound bed cleansing agents (the dressing provides built-in cleansing).
- No additional topical treatments are needed or recommended alongside this dressing.
Warnings
- Do not clean or disturb the wound bed during dressing changes unless instructed by a clinician.
- Replace the dressing immediately if exudate reaches the edge of the membrane.
- Avoid using external ointments or creams, as they may interfere with dressing function.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry environment.
- Keep packaging sealed until ready for use.
- Protect from excessive heat and moisture during storage.
