Sureprep Rapid Dry No-Sting Barrier Film Wipe is a sterile, polymeric solution that creates an even coating when applied to the skin. The film is colorless, clear, and has excellent oxygen and moisture vapor permeability. This substance is distributed in a unique, non-stinging, non-cytotoxic solvent that dries quickly. The wipe protects healthy skin from irritation produced by body fluids such urine and feces, digestive juices, wound drainage, and friction or adhesives. The film is a liquid intended for use as a film-forming product upon application to intact skin forms a long lasting waterproof barrierwhich acts as a protective interface between the skin and bodily wastes, fluids, adhesive products, and friction.

Indications:

Contraindications:

The film should not be used as the sole covering in cases requiring dressing protection against bacterial contamination/penetration, such as I.V. therapy catheter sites, complete or partial thickness wounds, or infected skin.

Direction to Use:

1. Skin should be clean and dry prior to application of Film.
2. Remove wipe or applicator from sachet and apply a uniform coating of film over entire area of concern.
3. If an area is missed, reapply to that area only after first application of Film has dried (approximately 30 seconds).
4. If Film is applied to area with skin folds or other skin-to-skin contact, make sure that skin contact areas are separated to allow the film to thoroughly dry before returning to normal position.
5. When used under adhesive tapes, dressings, or devices:
   • Allow Film to thoroughly dry before covering with dressing or adhesive products.
   • Reapplication of Film is necessary each time dressing or adhesive products are changed as the barrier film is removed by the adhesive

Precaution:

• If redness or other signs of irritation emerge, or if they persist, discontinue use of Film and seek medical attention.
• The use of additional barrier treatments, ointments, creams, or lotions may drastically diminish the efficacy of Film.

Warnings:

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use if the package is broken or opened.
