The special paper inside gives good moisture with low airflow resistance. Many choices let medical staff pick the best product for a patient's size, breathing volume, and moisture needs. Some units have filters that block 99.9999% of bacteria and viruses. This keeps patients and equipment safe from germs. The Humid-Vent 2 comes in angled, straight, and flex tube versions for intensive care and anesthesia.
