Vitaflo PKU Trio Oral Supplement

Vitaflo PKU Trio Oral Supplement is a phenylalanine-free powdered formula for the dietary control of Phenylketonuria (PKU). It has a trio of fat, carbohydrates, and protein.

• A unique combination of essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fat (including docosahexaenoic acid - DHA), vitamins, and minerals

Dosage And Administration: A clinician or a dietitian will determine this based on the patient's age, body weight, and medical condition.

Preparation: Measure the required number of scoops and add the amount of water recommended by the clinician or dietitian.

• Measure 2 level scoops into a glass/mixing cup.
• Add approx. 135 ml (4.5 fl oz) of cold water.
• Mix well until all of the powder is dissolved.
• Drink immediately.

Any prepared feed should be refrigerated and used within 24 hours. Re-shake before use.

Storage: Unopened: PKU trio should be stored in a cool dry place. Once opened: Use within 1 month.

Osmolality:

Unflavored: 33 g (2 scoops) + 135 ml (4.5 fl oz) water = 815 mOsm/kg.

Vanilla: 33 g (2 scoops) + 135 ml (4.5 fl oz) water = 862 mOsm/kg.
