Vitále Composite Dressings are absorbent, have an adhesive border, and provide an ideal cover for wounds of many types. They are soft and flexible dressings that are very comfortable on fragile skin, and have a long wear time. These dressings are indicated for covering primary treatment dressings, and assist in protecting the wound, preventing bacterial contamination and maceration.
Composite Dressings have an absorbent gauze pad in the center, and a soft & strong backing made from spunlace non-woven material. The adhesive border firmly holds the cover dressings in place, yet is easily removed at dressing change time.
Composite Dressings have an added a waterproof yet vapor permeable film to provide protection. They can be used on areas of the body affected by incontinence, to keep the wound clean, or over treated wounds while showering or bathing. The breathable film allows excess gases to escape.
